| Ease of
Operation |
| The ProClub LT features an
intuitive control console that provides simplified
programming choices of Quick Start, Manual or one of 4
Preset Workout options. Complicated operating procedures
are eliminated. |
| Extra
Wide and Extra Long Running Surface |
The
ProClub LT extra long and extra wide running surface
gives you plenty of room to walk or run. The expansive
20 x 58 inch deck and belt is built to accommodate
all users, especially those with longer strides. |
| Custom
Engineered Industrial Grade Motor |

PaceMaster uses a
custom-engineered 3 hp continuous duty
Pacific Scientific motor. The continuous duty rating is
the only significant measure of treadmill horsepower.
Beware of motors that try to sound more capable than
they are by listing meaningless ratings such as Peak
Performance or by omitting the rating altogether.
If it doesn’t say continuous duty, you don’t know
what you are getting. PaceMaster’s extra horsepower
means that the motor will run cooler, smoother
and last longer. Our powerful motor provides a
0.7 to 12 mph speed range, adjustable in 0.1 mph
increments, allowing maximum control of
the workout. Our motor controller utilizes Pulse
Width Modulation (PWM) technology, which draws
less current and provides accurate speed control, which
is especially important at lower speeds. |
| Deck and Belt |
|
Since the belt and deck are the
main wear item on any treadmill, we paid special
attention to their construction. PaceMaster’s custom-designed,
medium density fiberboard deck flexes upon
impact and requires no maintenance. It
is designed for extended life and exceptional durability
with multiple layers of phenolic laminate on both sides
of the deck. Drag and amp draw are minimized by its precision
micro-finished surface.
The Texglide belt was designed to provide long life by
reducing the coefficient of friction. No-stretch
polyester eliminates slippage, even for heavier users.
The belt is impregnated with static dispersing graphite
fibers to reduce friction and prevent static shock.
The belt and deck on any treadmill will eventually need
to be replaced. Some manufacturers advertise reversible
decks, thereby doubling its life span. We do not advise
this for several reasons. After many years of use, a
deck will warp, creating a sweet spot where your feet
strike the deck. When the deck is flipped, you are
actually running on a convex surface. In addition, the
life span of the reversed side is about half that of the
original side. In reality, it is more expensive to have
the deck reconditioned and reversed then it is to
install a brand new PaceMaster belt and deck.
Compare for yourself. You’ll save money with a
PaceMaster treadmill.

| Tri-Flex™
Impact Absorption System |

Our Tri-Flex™
Cushioning System reduces the impact stress to
your feet, ankles and back. That’s why PaceMaster’s custom
designed phenolic deck is formulated to flex
upon impact. The deck is permanently affixed to the
front and rear of the frame for additional stability,
eliminating lateral movement as well as
the springboard effect found on other
treadmills. Our deck rests upon shock absorbing elastomer
cushions. Our resilient aircraft
quality aluminum frame is also designed to help
absorb impact. All of these elements combine to make
PaceMaster treadmills more comfortable and easier on
your body than other brands. |
| Safety |
| PaceMaster puts a premium on
safety. We offer standard safety feature.
Full-length side rails and front handgrips
are no extra charge. Built-in warm up and cool down
functions reduces cardiovascular stress by easing the
user into and out of the workout. Sturdy slip
resistant side runners allow ample room for
mounting and dismounting the treadmill. PaceMaster
provides audible and visual cues to
alert of upcoming speed and elevation changes. Our Tri-Flex™
Cushioning System absorbs impact, reducing
stress to the body. A magnetic safety key, which is permanently
connected to the treadmill, powers down the
treadmill if the user should move too far from the
console during the workout. Even more important are the
safety features you can’t see; such as continuous
speed sensing and speed control that ensures
the belt is moving at the exact speed selected, a system
of built-in thermal sensors constantly
monitor electronics and motors for optimum performance
and will even power down the treadmill if they sense any
overload or unsafe conditions. |
| Speed
and Incline Ranges |
| PaceMaster treadmills
are fully adjustable, giving the user
control to fine-tune the intensity of the workouts.
Speed range is from 0.7 to 12 mph, adjustable in 0.1 mph
increments. Elevation changes can be adjusted from 0 to
15% in 0.5% increments. |
| Warm Up and
Cool Down |
| The experts recommend beginning
with a warm up period to ease you into the workout and
end it with a cool down to let your heart rate gradually
decline. PaceMaster has incorporated these important
phases into the preset workouts. |
| Superior
Frame |
| PaceMaster uses aircraft quality
aluminum alloy frames. Although aluminum is more costly
than steel, its properties make it a superior choice.
Per unit weight, aluminum is 3 times stronger than
steel. Its lighter weight makes PaceMaster treadmills
easy to move. And, unlike steel, won’t rust when
exposed to moisture such as perspiration. Finally, out
aluminum frame is resilient, adding to the impact
cushioning effect you need in a treadmill. Our frame is
so strong and durable that it’s backed by a lifetime
warranty. |
| Precision
Rollers |
PaceMaster
uses 2.5 inch precision-ground steel rollers.
Our larger diameter rollers extend belt life
by reducing friction as well as allowing the motor to
run at lower RPM’s for increased motor life.
The permanently lubricated, sealed
bearings prevent contaminants from causing damaging
friction and wear. Unlike some of our competitors, we do
not use “crowned” rollers. “Crowned” rollers are
less efficient, causing uneven and increased wear on the
belt as well as tracking problems. |
| Powerful
Incline Motor |
PaceMaster
uses a 1,000 lb. thrust elevation motor
to provide powerful, smooth and accurate
changes in incline. Offering a full range of incline, 0
to 15%, which is adjustable in 0.5% increments for
precise and smooth operation as well as greater control
of the workout. |
| Warranty |
| PaceMaster stands behind our
treadmills because we know they are built to withstand
years of rigorous use with very low maintenance. A
competitive warranty is one way we can provide the same
confidence that we have in each and every ProClub LT we
build. |
