HOW TO TUNE FM TRANSMITTER

1. Use a Walkman radio with a digital display to select the radio stations you wish to broadcast on.

2. Go up the radio dial and listen for static in between the local radio stations in the city. The station must end in odd numbers. Examples: 97.1, 97.3, 97.5, etc...

3. Tune the selected radio station on the front of the FM transmitter.

IMPORTANT
When using more than one transmitter, do not select stations 10.2 notches away from each other. Example: If you have selected 95.5 for one transmitter, do not select 105.7 for a second transmitter. Verify! TV volume is up about half way. TV speakers are turned OFF. Input level knob on transmitter is half way up.

NO AUDIO OUTPUT ON TV
In rare cases when there is NO audio output on the television, here are the following options:

1. If using cable service and a cable box, use the audio output of the cable box providing it has one. See Cable box.

2. If using cable service but no cable box contact cable company regarding availability of a cable box with Audio output.

3. If the Cable Company cannot provide a cable box with Audio Output, they are available through BROADCASTVISION.

4. The customer can use the Audio Output of a VCR if available.

5. If the customer is a satellite subscriber, they can use the Audio Output of the satellite receiver.

6. If none of the options above apply, the last resort is to open the TV and attach an audio line level output pad available through BROADCASTVISION.

7. Buy another TV!

CABLE BOX

In the case that the FM transmitter's connected to the Audio Output of a Cable Box.

1. Verify that the volume control on the Cable Box is all the way up. This can be accessed through the Cable box remote control or on the Cable box itself.

2. If the Cable box has one mono audio output jack, advise customer to attach a "Y" cord out of the Cable box to the FM transmitter. A single male to left and right female "Y" cord is required.

NOTE: In this situation, turn the speakers off on TV or simply turn the TV volume all the way down. The volume to the FM transmitter will always be regulated by the Cable box volume control. Verify that the input level knob on the back of the FM transmitter is about half way up.

IN THE CASE THE FM TRANSMITTER IS CONNECTED TO THE AUDIO OUTPUT OF THE TV WHEN USING A CABLE BOX.

1. Verify that the volume control on the cable box is all the way up. This can be accessed through the Cable box remote control or on the Cable box itself.

2. Verify that the TV speakers are off and the TV volume is up about halfway. Note: Always keep the volume control of the Cable box up all the way and the TV volume up about halfway.
